While American troops battle them just across the border, the Taliban is presented with the keys to the Swat Valley region in northern Pakistan.  CNN has reported that on Monday, the Pakistani government agreed to allow the Taliban to rule the Swat region, despite the fact that the US has given Pakistan millions of dollars to help combat terrorism.
